Antenatal and post-natal advice
Antenatal – before you have your baby
- Taking care of yourself whilst pregnant is really important. You can visit the NHS website to read about the scans, test and antenatal care you can have when pregnant.
- There are sections on antenatal appointments, your 12 and 20 weeks scans and the different screening tests you can have.
Postnatal – after you have your baby
- You will have support from your midwife and health visitor after your baby is born. You can visit the NHS website to read about the NHS services for new parents, including: registering your baby with a GP, how your health visitor can help, child health clinics, Sure Start children’s centres and family information services
