Covid-19 vaccination programme


Covid-19 vaccination is now only available if you’re at greater risk of serious illness from Covid-19.

  • Children aged 6 months to 4 years old who are at increased risk of getting seriously ill from Covid-19 can currently get a first and second Covid-19 vaccine.
  • free Covid-19 seasonal vaccine is available for:
  • All adults aged 65 years and over
  • Women or people who are pregnant
  • Residents and staff in a care home for older adults
  • Persons aged 16 to 64 years who are carers
  • Persons aged 12 to 64 years who are household contacts of people with immunosuppression
  • Frontline health and social care workers
  • Those aged 6 months to 64 years in at-risk groups, including people with the following health conditions:
    • Respiratory (lung) diseases, including asthma
    • Diabetes
    • Heart disease, kidney disease or liver disease
    • Neurological (brain or nerve) conditions
    • A learning disability
    • A severe mental illness
    • A weakened immune system (immunosuppression)
    • A missing spleen or sickle cell disease
    • Being very overweight – a body mass index (BMI) of 40 or above.
