What is the ‘Big Conversation’?

Our Big Conversation is about listening to you, the people in our communities, and understanding your views about health, care and wellbeing in north east London.

In north east London, organisations working across health and care, including local government; the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector; the NHS and wider partners are already working together to plan and deliver joined up health and care services.

Based on what we already know about the needs of local people and what you have told us before, we are focusing on four priorities for improving quality and outcomes and tackling health inequalities. These are:

  • Babies, children and young people
  • Long term health conditions
  • Mental health
  • Local employment and workforce

Next steps

Over the summer we held events across north east London to hear from local people and ran an online survey for people to complete.  A big thank you to everyone who provided feedback.

We are now working with our local Healthwatch organisations to analyse all of the information we have received so we can use it to inform how we can improve health care and wellbeing. We’ll update this page with more details about this soon.
