Feebris is a remote monitoring system available in the boroughs of Barking and Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge.

Who should complete the survey?
- All care home staff within the care homes using the remote monitoring product, including care homes that may not have been live at the time of the baseline care home survey, and staff who did not complete the baseline survey

What is this survey about?
A number of care homes across London, including your place of work, are using remote monitoring solutions to care for residents (Docobo, Inhealthcare, Vcare, Arc, Whzan or Feebris). NEL are using Feebris and Inhealthcare to remotely monitor residents. The ICS is undertaking an evaluation to understand any impact the technology might have on residents, care home staff and the wider health care system.
As part of this evaluation, it is important to understand the experiences and perspectives of care home staff who use the technology. A baseline survey was done in 2021, and 170 care home staff from across London completed the survey. This survey being shared here is the follow-up to that survey to see if there are any changes in experiences and perspectives from care home staff.

- All GPs working with all homes involved in this programme of work. Practice managers are asked to share with all GPs in the practice, as opposed to nominating a single respondent.

A number of care homes and GP practices across London are using remote monitoring solutions to care for residents together (Docobo, Inhealthcare, Vcare, Arc, Whzan or Feebris). NEL are using Feebris and Inhealthcare to remotely monitor residents. This is part of a wider NHSX funded project, the Innovation Collaborative.
The London ICSs are undertaking an evaluation to understand any impact the technologies might have on residents, care home staff and the wider health care system. A high-level approach is detailed in the interim report. As part of this evaluation, it is important to understand the experiences and perspectives of GPs who use the technology in the care of residents in care homes assigned to their practice.

Care City have developed a training app for care staff that is easy to use called E-Care. The aim of the app is to use case studies to enhance a learner’s knowledge and skills to better care for a service user. The carer will learn:
- About the main systems of the body and how they work (such as lungs and heart)
- To spot the soft signs of deteriorating health
- To use digital tools to take observations
- To share information appropriately with healthcare professionals.
